ORONO, Maine - Four different Black Bears scored as the #5 University of Maine men's hockey team picked up a 4-3 win over the University of Vermont in front of a sold-out crowd at Alfond Arena on Saturday night.

Josh Nadeau made it 1-0 less than three minutes into the contest only to see the Catamounts equalize in the final minute of the period. The Black Bears built a 3-1 lead by the end of the second period thanks to goals from Nicholas Niemo and Owen Fowler.

Vermont made it a one-goal game five minutes into the third period but Thomas Pichette's goal at the 6:40 mark was enough to hold off another late Vermont strike.
