Four Hockey East Games Featured on ESPN Linear Networks

AMESBURY, Mass. – The Hockey East Association and ESPN have announced the remaining linear schedule for both the men’s and women’s leagues in 2023-24. The unveiling continues ESPN’s unrivaled commitment to hockey with more than 640 games across ESPN networks and ESPN+ during the 2023-24 NCAA men and women’s ice hockey seasons. The lineup also features exclusive coverage of the NCAA post season culminating with the exclusive presentation of the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Frozen Four championship events.

For the second consecutive year, ESPN will broadcast the Hockey East Women’s Tournament championship game live on ESPNU on Saturday, March 9. ESPNU has already carried a regular-season rematch of the 2023 title game that saw Northeastern take down Providence on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

The remaining schedule is highlighted by a New Year’s Eve clash at Toscano Family Ice Forum as the UConn Huskies welcome the Harvard Crimson to Storrs at 3:00 p.m. Also featured on ESPN linear networks in 2024 will be No. 2 Boston University taking on cross-town rival Northeastern at Historic Matthews Arena on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m.

ESPN+, the “Home of Hockey”, will stream over 600 games on the platform with matchups from Hockey East, ECAC Hockey, and the Ivy League. This year marks the second of a six-year rights agreement between ESPN and Hockey East, featuring over 300 men’s and women’s games annually including the Hockey East Women’s Tournament Championship.

Further commentary lineups and scheduling updates including the full slate of post season games will be announced throughout the season.
