HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Cole Hutson - Boston University
(Fr., D; North Barrington, Ill.)

No player in the NCAA had more points than Hutson, who led the country in points per game with 15 in just eight contests. His play propelled BU into the national title game after six points (2g, 4a) in the Toledo Regional where he was named Most Outstanding Player. He had an assist in each Frozen Four game to end the year on a five-game point streak and took home the Tim Taylor Award as national rookie of the year.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Cole Eiserman - Boston University
(Fr., F; Newburyport, Mass.)

Eiserman led the NCAA with nine goals in just eight games in March and April, including two game-winning strikes and a tally in each Frozen Four game for the Terriers. He started the month with his second career hat trick and ended with four goals in his final four games. His 12 points were third in the nation and no freshman had more game-winning strikes than Eiserman.

ARMY ROTC DEFENDER OF THE MONTH

Viking Gustafsson Nyberg - UConn
(So., D; Stockholm, Swe.)

Gustafsson Nyberg helped UConn to a runner-up finish in the Hockey East Tournament and its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in March. No player in Hockey East had a better mark than his plus-nine rating, which was good for third nationally. He also led Hockey East with 16 blocked shots while adding a goal and two assists in seven games, giving the Huskies a 5-2-0 record.

STOP IT GOALTENDING GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH

Mikhail Yegorov - Boston University
(Fr., G; St. Petersburg, Russia)

Yegorov backboned the Terriers to the third-straight Frozen Four, winning six games in March and April for BU. He faced 253 shots against, the third-most in the country, and stopped 234 of them, second of any goaltender in the nation. The rookie netminder allowed two or fewer goals in five of his eight starts and made at least 30 saves in five as well.
