Just in time to celebrate its 45th anniversary, The Dunkin’ Women’s Beanpot Championship will be played at TD Garden tonight. The milestone moment features both the third-place game between Boston College and Harvard at 5:00 p.m. and the championship game between Boston University and defending champions Northeastern at 8:00 p.m. Tickets on sale now at TicketMaster.com.

UConn swept a league series against Maine and New Hampshire to take first place in the Army ROTC Hockey East Standings with a game in hand on second-place BC. Megan Warrener posted a 20-save shut out on Sunday to improve to 10-0-1 on the year, including an 8-0-1 mark in Hockey East play. The Huskies are 13-0-1 in their last 14 league games.

Providence swept Holy Cross, thanks in part to three points from Lindsay Bochna. The Friars move to 9-8-1 in league play with 28 points, sitting just two points out of third place and two points above sixth place. Boston University swept a two-game set at home against Vermont, keeping pace with Providence and just one point out of a home quarterfinal game with 27 points. Lacey Martin is riding a three-game goal streak and has five tallies in her last six outings.

Sophie McKinley sparked Merrimack to a 3-3 draw against Maine, scoring a goal and dishing out two primary assists to erase a three-goal deficit in the span of 3:36 of the third period, capping the comeback with just 4.4 seconds left in regulation.

New Hampshire freshman goaltender Sedona Blair made at least 30 saves for the eighth time this season with a 34-save effort against No. 11 UConn on Sunday. The Wildcat penalty kill was a perfect 24-for-24 spanning Nov. 21 to Jan. 19 until UConn scored a pair of power-play goals Sunday.

Lacey Martin (Sr., F; Minnetonka, Minn.) led BU to Beanpot semifinal victory (after an official 3-3 draw) against No. 13 Boston College and a weekend sweep of Vermont by scoring a goal in each game, including the game-winner on Saturday against the Catamounts.

Sophie McKinley, MC (So., F; Vernon, B.C.) factored in on every goal in Merrimack’s 3-3 comeback draw against Maine, scoring once and picking up two primary assists all within the span of 3:36 of the third period.


PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Molly Jordan - Boston College

Molly Jordan (Fr., D; Berlin, Conn.) racked up five points (2g, 3a) in a 1-0-1 week for Boston College, including a two-goal, two assist perfomance in a 6-4 win over Merrimack. On Friday, the two goals were her first career NCAA tallies and her assist came as the primary helper on the game-winning goal. She added another primary assist on the late game-tying goal in 3-3 draw with Boston University on Tuesday.

Nadia Mattivi - Boston University

Nadia Mattivi (Gr., D; Baselga di Pine, Italy) had three points (1g, 2a) and a plus-four rating on the week to help the Terriers go undefeated (2-0-1) in three games. She dished out two primary assists Friday’s 6-1 win over UVM and added an empty-net goal in a 4-2 victory the next night.

Gwyneth Philips - Northeastern

Gwyneth Philips (Gr., G; Athens, Ohio) went 2-0-0 with a 0.50 GAA and .971 save percentage to lead Northeastern to victories over Harvard and New Hampshire. Philips posted a nine-save shutout, her fifth of the season and 21st of her career, over Harvard to send NU to the Beanpot Championship. She followed it up with a 24-save performance on 25 shots against the Wildcats for her 62nd career win, moving her into second all-time in program history. She has allowed one goal or fewer in each of her last seven starts


HOCKEY EAST TOP PERFORMERS

Julia Pellerin, BC (Fr., F; Windham, N.H.) Scored two goals in a 6-4 win over Merrimack on Friday.

Ella Huntley, BU (Fr., F; Buffalo, N.Y.) Recorded an assist in both of Boston University’s wins over Vermont.

Callie Shanahan, BU (Jr., G; Commerce, Mich.) Stopped 41 of 45 shots over two starts, helping BU advance to the Beanpot title game and also earn a 6-1 home win over Vermont.

Kathryn Stockdale, UConn (Sr., F; Ottawa, Ont.) Picked up three points (1g, 2a) in a weekend sweep of Maine and New Hampshire, helping UConn into first place in the Army ROTC Hockey East Standings. She netted the game-winning goal in Sunday’s 4-0 victory at UNH and added two primary assists.

Claire Peterson, UConn (Gr., D; San Jose, Calif.) Dished out two assists, including the primary helper on the game-winning goal in Sunday’s 4-0 road win at UNH. Peterson has helped anchor a UConn defense that has gone 13-0-1 in its last 14 league games.

Megan Warrener, UConn (Jr., G; Stoney Creek, Ont.) Shut out UNH on Sunday in a 4-0 win with 20 saves, her fourth perfect game of the season. She currently leads Hockey East with a 0.83 goals against average and .959 save percentage and is 10-0-1 on the year, allowing just nine goals, and 8-0-1 in league play. The win vaulted UConn into first place in the Army ROTC Hockey East Standings, and the Huskies are now 13-0-1 in their last 14 league games.

Lulu Rourke, HC (Fr., F; Wellesley, Mass.) Scored both goals for Holy Cross in a 5-2 set back to Providence. The goals were her first collegiate points and both came unassisted.

Casey Borgiel, HC (So., D; Port Huron, Mich.) Netted the lone Crusaders’ goal and blocked four shots in a 3-1 setback to Providence.

Madison Beck, HC (Sr., G; Lunenburg, N.S.) Named to the Watch List for the National Goaltender of the Year, Beck made 20 saves on 23 shots in Friday’s outing.

Emma Pfeffer, MC (Fr., F; Vienna, Austria) Scored the game-tying goal with just 4.4 seconds remaining in a 3-3 tie with Maine on Saturday.

Ashlyn Kroes, MC (So., D; Milton, Ont.) Netted her first career goal in a Warriors uniform on Friday.

Calli Hogarth, MC (So., G; Barrie, Ont.) Made 43 saves in a split weekend against BC and Maine, plus two saves in a shootout win against Maine.

Taze Thompson, NU (Jr., F; Sherwood Park, Alta.) Scored the game-winning goal on the power-play against her former team, the Harvard Crimson, to send Northeastern to the Beanpot Championship game. Thompson’s goal was her ninth of the season, a new career-high, and her fourth game-winning goal, the third-best mark in Hockey East.

Allie Lalonde, NU (Fr., F; Irvine, Calif.) Scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over New Hampshire. Lalonde now has three game-winning strikes, the most among Hockey East freshmen.

Tory Mariano, NU (Jr., D; Buffalo, N.Y.) Posted one assist and two blocks while helping Northeastern to a 2-0-0 week. Mariano assisted Taze Thompson’s game-winner against Harvard to send Northeastern to the Beanpot Championship game.

Lindsay Bochna, PC (Sr., F; Toronto, Ont.) Recorded three points across a weekend sweep of Holy Cross. On Friday, Bochna scored the Friars’ final goal of a 3-1 win on the power play. On Saturday, she recorded an assist and scored Providence’s last goal of 5-2 win.

Lara Beecher, UVM (So., F; Buffalo, N.Y.) Scored two goals in a two-game series with BU. On the weekend, Beecher finished with a plus-one rating.

Jessie McPherson, UVM (Sr., G; Chatham, Ont.) Tallied 45 saves over a two-game series with BU.
