AMESBURY, Mass. - The Hockey East Association today announced the 2025-26 Pro Ambitions All-Rookie Team and six other season-long awards as voted by the men’s league’s 11 head coaches. The awards come as part of the celebration of the 41st annual Hockey East Tournament, which begins tonight.

The 2025-26 Pro Ambitions All-Rookie Team consists of eight players, including one unanimous selection in Providence netminder Jack Parsons (Ithaca, N.Y.). The team is rounded out by defensemen Quinn Mantei (Weyburn, Sask./Providence) and Luka Radivojevic (Trencín, Slovakia/Boston College) and forwards Justin Gill (St-Joseph-du-Lac, Que./Merrimack), Parker Lalonde (Aberdeen, Sask./Merrimack), Giacomo Martino (Toronto, Ont./Northeastern), Jacob Mathieu (St-Odilon-de-Cranbourne, Que./Northeastern), and Roger McQueen (Saskatoon, Sask./Providence).

Also recognized for their defensive abilities was a trio of players with a combined 13 years of experience in Hockey East, as Maine senior Brandon Holt (Grand Forks, N.D.) has been named Hockey East’s Best Defensive Defenseman while UConn’s Tabor Heaslip (Fort Worth, Texas) and Maine’s Owen Fowler (Tewksbury, Mass.) share Best Defensive Forward honors.

Two statistical awards have been formally announced, both awarded to a Boston College sophomore forward for the second consecutive year. James Hagens (Hauppauge, N.Y.) was acknowledged as the Service Credit Union Scoring Leader and was also honored with the Hockey East Three Stars Award as he compiled the highest total number of points earned when named a first, second, or third star of the game in Hockey East contests.

Hockey East’s two sportsmanship awards have been bestowed upon Holt and Boston College’s Will Vote (Arlington, Mass.), who will be presented with the Len Ceglarski Sportsmanship Award, given by the league to one player who has consistently demonstrated superior conduct and sportsmanship on and off the ice. The Massachusetts Minutemen were acknowledged with the Charlie Holt Team Sportsmanship Award for accruing the fewest average penalty minutes per Hockey East game for the second straight year.

Hockey East will announce the 2025-26 All-Star Teams on Friday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m. The league will then announce finalists for the Player, Rookie, and Coach of the Year awards on Monday, March 16.
