HOCKEY EAST HEADLINES
Aerin Frankel (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.) earned back-to-back shutouts over Holy Cross last weekend, extending her perfect game streak to five contests in 320:02 of work. The two blank sheets brought her to 25 career shutouts in league play, breaking the previous record of 24 held by Boston College’s Katie Burt. The Huskies are on a nation-best 13-game unbeaten streak (12-0-1) and have not allowed a goal in over 380 minutes.
Boston University swept Merrimack thanks to back-to-back shutouts from junior Kate Stuart (Chilliwack, B.C.) and Corinne Schroeder (Elm Creek, Man.) Courtney Correia (Whitby, Ont.) led the Terriers with four points, including three points in Friday’s 6-0 win. She netted a nifty opening goal that proved to be the winner.
UConn earned a 3-0 win over Maine on Friday in their lone game of the weekend. Natalie Snodgrass (Eagan, Minn.) scored her fifth goal, the game-winner, of the year to open the scoring while Samantha Carpentier- Yelle (Bromont, Que.) made 29 saves.
New Hampshire split a weekend series with No. 10/10 Providence. On Friday, Ava Boutilier (RS-Jr., Charlottetown, P.E.I.) recorded her third consecutive shutout in UNH’s 1-0 victory. She made 21 saves in the game.
In Saturday’s back-and-forth affair, Providence freshman Lindsay Bochna
(Toronto, Ont.) scored back-to-back third period goals, including the
game-winning strike.

Lindsay Bochna (Toronto,
Ont.) scored back-to-back
third period goals, including
the game-winning strike,
in Saturday night’s victory
against UNH. At 5:03 of the
final frame, Bochna broke
a 3-3 stalemate before
adding the game-winning
goal 9:10 later. With five
goals on the year, the rookie
is currently in a four-way
tie for most tallies on the
team.

Friday. She made 21 saves
in the game. Boutilier then
stopped 31 shots in Saturday’s
5-4 loss at PC.
HOCKEY EAST TOP PERFORMERS
Courtney Correia, BU (Jr., F; Whitby, Ont.) Led the Terriers with four points in a weekend sweep of Merrimack. She totaled three points in Friday’s 6-0 win, including a nifty opening goal that proved to be the winner. She has totaled a team-high eight points thanks to two goals and a BU-best six assists this season.
Catherine Foulem, BU (Fr., F; Dieppe, N.B.) Notched her first collegiate goal on Sunday as part of the Terriers’ weekend sweep of Merrimack. She also had a helper in Friday’s win to complete a two-point weekend.
Kate Stuart, BU (Jr., G; Chilliwack, B.C.) Shined in Friday’s 6-0 win over Merrimack, as she stopped all 24 shots she faced. She helped the BU penalty kill finish 8-for-8, including a pair of 5-on-3 chances in the third period.
Chloe Aurard, NU (Jr., F; Villard-de-Lans, France) Racked up six points (4g, 2a) in two wins over Holy Cross, including her second career hat trick in Friday’s 8-0 win that she began by scoring the game-winning goal. Three of her tallies came on the power play and she now has scored at least one point in nine of her last 10 games.
Charli Kettlye, UNH (Fr., D; Perth, Ont.) Broke a scoreless tie with 36.4 seconds remaining to lift UNH to a 1-0 win last Friday vs. 10th-ranked Providence. She also recorded an assist in Saturday’s 5-4 loss at PC.
Bailey Burton, PC (So., F; Bloomington, Minn.) Registered three assists in Saturday’s game against UNH helping the team to a 5-4 victory. Increased her assists on the season to seven, and is tied for third most points on the team (10).
