- Harvard jumped on the board first as Antonina Dinges finished off a rebound in the crease at 12:57 of the first period.
- The Friars killed off three power-play opportunities for Harvard in the first 20 minutes of play.
- Providence leveled the game at 1-1 at 3:06 of the second period on Reichen Kirchmair's (Oakville, Ont.) seventh tally of the season. Dylan Berman (Deephaven, Minn.) and Hannah Johnson (Readfield, Maine) earned the assists on the play.
- With 3:43 remaining in the third period, Harvard's Ella Lucia gave the Crimson a 2-1 lead.

- Kirchmair stuffed home her second of the game and eighth of the season at 2:47 of overtime to give the Friars the victory.
