BOSTON - The Boston College Eagles and the Harvard Crimson skated to a tie on Tuesday night in the Beanpot Consolation round. Harvard took home the shootout victory.
Sidney Fess scored the lone goal in the first period to give Boston College a 1-0 advantage heading into the second period. Fess's goal marked the first-ever goal scored during the Women's Beanpot at TD Garden.
During the second period, the Crimson found the back of the net to tie it up at one apiece. In the third period, Harvard was able to capitalize on an odd-man rush during an Eagles powerplay, giving them the 2-1 advantage. BC was able to tie it up with two minutes left in regulation.
Neither team could capitalize during the five-minute overtime period, sending the game down to a shootout. Harvard was able to clinch third place with the win during the shootout.

- BC is now 35-19-3 all-time in the Beanpot since becoming a varsity program (1995-present)
- Jade Arnon led the Eagles with a team-high nine shots on goal.
- Molly Jordan, Kiley Erickson, Gaby Roy and Cailin Flynn all finished with two blocked shots for the Eagles ... the team got in front of 12 shots today.
- Grace Campbell was in the net for the Eagles. She had 47 saves on the night.
