WORCESTER, Mass. - The Providence College women's hockey team defeated the Holy Cross Crusaders, 3-1, on Friday, Jan. 19 at the Hart Center Rink in Worcester, Mass. Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.) finished the night with 20 saves.

-Audrey Knapp netted the first goal of the night at the 13-minute mark of the first period, unassisted.
-Holy Cross' Casey Borgiel converted on a power play at 5:49 in the second period. Emilie Fortunato assisted the play.
-Rachel Weiss scored off a pass from Lily Martinson 9:28 into the second period to give the Friars a 2-1 lead. Lily Hendrikson earned the secondary assist.
