ORONO, Maine - Three Black Bears scored and Albin Boija made 30 saves as the #7/8 University of Maine men's hockey team defeated Colgate, 3-1, on Friday night at Alfond Arena.
Bradly Nadeau's 13th goal of the season put Maine up 5:26 into the first period. Harrison Scott scored less than five minutes into the second period before Ryan Hopkins' first career goal with a minute to play in the frame made it 3-0 at the second intermission. With the goaltender pulled and on the power play, Colgate pulled a goal back to make it 3-1 but Boija and the Black Bears closed out the game.

- Maine had the 35-31 lead in shots on goal.
