DURHAM, N.H. - Junior forward Brooke Hammer (Commerce Township, Mich.) recorded two goals and an assist to lead the University of New Hampshire women's hockey team to Tuesday night's 3-0 victory against Harvard University at the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex.
The three points set a career-high for Hammer, who matched her best of two goals by scoring the first and last goals of the game.
Junior forward and captain Kira Juodikis (LaSalle, Ontario) recorded a goal and assist for her third consecutive multiple-point game.
Freshman goalie Sedona Blair (Eden Prairie, Minn.) recorded the second shutout of her career by making 19 saves in the contest, including 11 in the second period.
Harvard goalie Alex Pellicci had 22 saves.
UNH improved to 7-7-1 on the season. Harvard is now 1-9-1 overall.

FIRST PERIOD
- UNH had a 14-3 shot advantage and skated to a 1-0 lead in the opening period.
- Harvard took a cross checking penalty five minutes into the game, setting the 'Cats up for a 5-on-4 advantage. After settling into their offense, Brianna Legros (New Liskeard, Ontario) had a great look on net but Pellicci made a glove save.
- With thirty-five seconds left on the Havard penalty, UNH took a cross checking penalty to set up a 4-on-4, and eventually a Harvard 5-on-4, but nothing came of it. Blair stopped the only shot she faced on the penalty kill.
- At 13:40, Crimson's Gabi Davidson Adams rebounded a loose puck in the crease, but Blair made the save to keep the game scoreless.
- With nearly five minutes left in the period, Harvard took a hooking penalty to set the Wildcats up for another 5-on-4. The 'Cats managed two shots on the power play but couldn't get either past Pellicci.
- Shortly after the penalty expired Nicole Kelly (Brantford, Ontario) won a faceoff in Harvard's defensive zone and Hammer buried a one-timer from the inner-left circle for the first goal of the game at 17:46. Kelly had the assist on the goal.
SECOND PERIOD
- Harvard had an 11-7 shot advantage in the second stanza, but the 'Cats netted another goal to extend their lead to 2-0.
- The first high-quality look of the period came from Harvard when Eva Dorr snapped a wrister on goal but Blair made a strong glove save.
- Following a faceoff win in the Wildcats' defensive zone, Gwynn Lapp had a great look for the Crimson but Blair made another strong save.
- The Wildcats saw their first high-quality look of the period when Chavonne Truter (Uxbridge, Ontario) was left open in the circle, but hir shot was stopped by Pellicci.
- With seven minutes left in the period, Brooke Manning was left wide open for a point-blank attempt but Blair came up massive once again to preserve UNH's one-goal lead.
- The 'Cats took a two-goal advantage when Juodikis blasted the puck past Pellicci on an unsecured rebound at 15:15. The goal was assisted by Hammer, who tallied her second point of the night, and Shea Verrier (Reading, Mass.). Legros initiated the scoring sequence by keeping the puck in the offensive zone at the right point.
THIRD PERIOD
- Harvard had the 5-4 shot advantage in the final frame, however the 'Cats scored again and won 3-0.
- UNH took the 3-0 advantage on Hammer's top-shelf breakaway goal. The goal was assisted by Juodikis, who picked up her second point of the night on the pass through the neutral zone, and Rae Breton (Brighton, Ontario).
- New Hampshire was called for a checking penalty at 9:37 but the Wildcats' defense held strong and did not allow a shot on net during the penalty kill.
- Blair kept her shutout alive with a big pad save when she denied Lapp's point-blank shot at 14:27. She made another glove save at 18:54 on Shannon Holland's wrister.
- With nearly a minute to go, Truter and Tamara Thierus (Saint-Jérôme, Quebec) had a 2-on-1 but Thierus missed the net wide right.
- Neither team recorded a shot the rest of the way.

- UNH recorded a 25-19 shot advantage.
- Harvard had a 25-23 edge in the faceoff circle.
- UNH was credited with 11 blocked shots while Harvard had eight blocks.

- Hammer recorded a career-high with three points and tied her career-high of two goals. This is her third straight game recording at least one point.
- Juodikis recorded her team-high sixth multi-point game of the season and 17th of her career. She also had a team-high five shots.
- Juodikis and Charli Kettyle (Perth, Ontario) led the team with two blocks apiece.
- Verrier led all skaters with 12 faceoff wins on a .667 winning percentage, which was also best of any player.
