Northeastern graduate forward Alina Mueller (Winterthur, Switzerland) was named MVP of the Hockey East Tournament and Hockey East Player of the Year, both for the third time in her career, as she led Northeastern to its sixth straight Bertagna Trophy as Hockey East champions. She had five goals and three assists in the postseason and was named a Patty Kaz Top-10 Finalist for the fifth time in her career. Mueller became Northeastern’s all-time program leader with her 250th career point with a goal in the semifinals against Boston College.
