AMESBURY, Mass. - The Hockey East Association today announced its 2025-26 Women’s All-Star Teams as voted by the women’s league’s 10 head coaches as part of the celebration of the 24th annual Hockey East Tournament.
The All-Hockey East First Team boasts four unanimous selections, including Northeastern defender Jules Constantinople (East Haven, Conn.) and forwards Lily Shannon (Andover, Mass./Northeastern), Ava Thomas (Downingtown, Pa./Boston College), and Stryker Zablocki (Prince Albert, Sask./Northeastern). The team is rounded out by UConn goaltender Tia Chan (Hamilton, Ont.) and Eagles’ rookie blueliner Madelyn Murphy (Dorchester, Mass.). Chan was also named Goaltender of the Year for the second year in a row.
Named All-Hockey East Second Team are goaltender Lisa Jonsson (Stockholm, Sweden/Northeastern), defenders Kristina Allard (Kingston, N.H./Northeastern) and Maya Serdachny (Edmonton, Alta./UConn), and forwards Claire Murdoch (Toronto, Ont./UConn), Julia Pellerin (Windham, N.H./UConn), and Nina Rossi (Pittsgrove, N.J./New Hampshire).
Getting nods on the Third Team are goaltender Abby Hornung (Ashland, Mass./Holy Cross), defenders Josie Hemp (Chanhassen, Minn./Vermont) and Olivia Maffeo (Canton, Mass./Boston College) and forwards Morgan Jackson (Courtenay, B.C./Northeastern), Kyla Josifovic (Burlington, Ont./UConn), and Stella Retrum (Maple Grove, Minn./Vermont).
The 2026 Hockey East Women’s Tournament continues tomorrow with quarterfinal action on NESN, NESN+ and ESPN+. A full schedule is below.
The Hockey East semifinals are set for Tuesday, March 3 at campus sites. The 24th Hockey East women’s championship game will be played Saturday, March 7 at 3:30 p.m. and air nationally on ESPNEWS. Tickets are available via the host institution for each game.
Hockey East will announce finalists for the Player, Rookie, and Coach of the Year awards on Monday, March 2.
