Hockey East Names 2025-26 Pro Ambitions All-Rookie Team
Tournament Opening Round Begins Tonight at Campus Sites

AMESBURY, Mass. - The Hockey East Association today announced the 2025-26 Pro Ambitions All-Rookie Team and five other season-long awards as voted by the women’s league’s 10 head coaches. The awards come as part of the celebration of the 24th annual Hockey East Tournament, which begins tonight.

The 2025-26 Pro Ambitions All-Rookie Team consists of six players, including a record five unanimous selections defender Madelyn Murphy (Dorchester, Mass./Boston College) and forwards Violet Carroll (Milton, Mass./Holy Cross), Nina Rossi (Pittsgrove, N.J./New Hampshire), Ava Thomas (Downingtown, Pa./Boston College), and Stryker Zablocki (Prince Albert, Sask./Northeastern). The team is rounded out by forward Maxim Tremblay (Sherbrooke, Que./Boston College).

Also recognized for her efforts in the 2025-26 campaign is Northeastern senior Jules Constantinople (East Haven, Conn.) who has been named Army ROTC Defender of the Year. Constantinople is seventh in the nation with 64 blocked shots and had the longest assist streak in Hockey East this season, handing out a helper in seven straight games.

Two statistical awards have been formally announced, as Northeastern’s Stryker Zablocki has become the first rookie to claim the Hockey East scoring crown since 2017-18, netting 17 goals and adding 17 assists for 34 points. Boston College goaltender Grace Campbell (Kensington, Md.) has captured the Hockey East Three Stars Award for the second straight year, given to the player who accrues the most points from being named the first, second, or third star of the game throughout the season.

Boston College graduate student Emma Conner (Edina, Minn.) has been honored as the best defensive forward during the regular season. She currently leads Hockey East with 73 blocked shots, which is eighth nationally, while her plus-12 rating is 12th in the NCAA. Vermont fifth-year Anna Podein (Minneapolis, Minn.)was awarded the conference’s sportsmanship award after committing just one penalty in each of the last three seasons and just six across her five-year career.

The 2025 Hockey East Women’s Tournament begins tonight with two Opening Round games. Merrimack visits at Maine at 5:00 p.m. while Providence travels to Boston University at 6:00 p.m. Both games can be seen on ESPN+. Winners will advance to the quarterfinals on Saturday, February 28 to take on either Northeastern or UConn.

The Hockey East semifinals are set for Tuesday, March 3 at campus sites. The 24th championship game will be played Saturday, March 7 at 3:30 p.m. and air nationally on ESPNEWS. Tickets are available via the host institution for each on-campus game.

Hockey East will announce the 2025-26 All-Star Teams on Friday, February 27 at 10:00 a.m. The league will then announce finalists for the Player, Rookie, and Coach of the Year awards on Monday, March 2.
