HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Allie Lalonde - Northeastern
(Jr., F; Irvine, Calif.)

No player in Hockey East scored more goals in December than Allie Lalonde, who potted three tallies in three games for the Huskies. She scored a hat trick in a 3-1 win at Boston College on Dec. 5 and handed out an assist on Dec. 2 against New Hampshire. Her four points were second in the league while her 14 shots on net were third. She had a plus-four rating and one game-winning goal, both tops in the league.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Nina Rossi - New Hampshire
(Fr., F; Pittsgrove, N.J.)

In just three games in December, Rossi was third in the nation among all players with five points on two goals and three assists. She led all Hockey East players in points and assists and was second in goals. She helped the Wildcats to a 1-1-1 record, including handing Northeastern its first loss in Hockey East play on Dec. 2.

ARMY ROTC DEFENDER OF THE MONTH

Maya Serdachny - UConn
(Jr., D; Edmonton, Alta.)

Maya Serdachny had three assists in an undefeated December for UConn, helping the Huskies to a 1-0-1 record. She dished out all three helpers in a 3-2 win at Boston University on Dec. 6 and put five shots on net in the two outings while posting a plus-one rating.

STOP IT GOALTENDING GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH

Mari Pietersen - Boston University
(Jr., G; Goodwood, Ont.)

In three games in December, Pietersen lead Hockey East with a 1.30 goals against average and .957 save percentage, which were both good for sixth in the nation among goalies who played at least 100 minutes. She posted a 1-1-1 record and allowed just four goals while making 89 saves. She began 2026 by being named MVP of the 2026 Friendship Series in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
