HOCKEY EAST HEADLINES
Northeastern swept Merrimack to improve to 7-0-0 in Hockey East play, the best start in conference play in program history. Rookie forward Stryker Zablocki became the first NU freshman to score a hat trick since Kendall Coyne in 2011-12 on Friday while Lisa Jonsson earned her third shutout of the year on Saturday. The Huskies hold a one-point lead over Boston College in the Army ROTC Hockey East Standings.
Boston College won the Battle of Comm. Ave, sweeping Boston University behind four points (3g, 1a) from Emma Conner and 74 saves across two wins for Grace Campbell. Conner, a forward, is also fifth in the country and first in Hockey East with 42 blocked shots.
Vermont and New Hampshire split a two-game set at Gutterson Fieldhouse. Sedona Blair totaled 48 saves for the Wildcats, including 23 in a 4-3 victory on Friday, while Catamounts’ rookie Zoe Cliche posted her first career shutout on Saturday with 27 stops in her lone start of the weekend.
Holy Cross and Maine kept pace in the Army ROTC Hockey East
Standings with a weekend split. Black Bear Brenna Curl scored her
first career goal in Friday’s 2-1 win, answering less than 30 seconds
after Holy Cross took a 1-0 lead. Abby Hornung got both starts for
the Crusaders, making a season-high 41 saves on 42 shots in a 3-1
win on Saturday. She now has 14 career wins in Hockey East play,
the most by any Holy Cross goaltender.

Emma Conner - Boston College
Emma Conner (Gr., F; Edina, Minn.) scored three goals and an
assist across a two-game sweep over Boston University. Conner scored twice on Friday, including a shorthanded goal and the
game-winning strike, while adding five blocked shots in a 5-2 win.
She followed that effort with the game-winning goal just 1:09 into the
third period on Friday night and an assist. Conner finished the week-
end with four points and three goals, eight shots on net, and seven
blocks.
PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Stryker Zablocki - Northeastern
Stryker Zablocki (Fr., F; Prince Albert, Sask.) earned her first career
hat trick, including the game-winning goal, to lead Northeastern to a
4-1 victory over Merrimack on Friday. Zablocki is the first Northeastern freshman since Kendall Coyne during the 2011-12 season to
record a hat trick. Over the weekend sweep, Zablocki finished with a
plus-two rating and three points.

Zoe Cliche - Vermont
Zoe Cliche (Fr., G; Ottawa, Ont.) notched a 27-save shutout on Saturday in a 4-0 win over UNH, her first career shutout and third win in
four starts
STOP IT GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
Grace Campbell - Boston College
Grace Campbell (Sr., G; Kensington, Md.) backstopped the Eagles
to two wins over BU, stopping 74 of 79 shots on the weekend for a
.937 save percentage. She made 43 saves in Thursday’s 5-2 victory
and followed with 31 more in Friday’s 3-2 win, including 13 in the
third period to preserve the result.
HOCKEY EAST TOP PERFORMERS
Maxim Tremblay, BC (Fr., F; Sherbrooke, Que.) Handed out three assists to help BC to a sweep of rival BU and finished with a plus- two rating.
Olivia Maffeo, BC (So., D; Canton, Mass.) Finished a sweep of BU with six blocked shots, a plus-two rating, and an assist on the game-winning goal in Friday night’s 3-2 win.
Clara Yuhn, BU (Sr., F; Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) Had a goal and an assist in two games against BC, while winning 14 of 20 faceoffs.
Lexie Bertelsen, BU (Fr., F; Belmont, Ont.) Notched two assists on Friday for her first career multi-point game.
Lane Lewis, HC (Sr., F; Winnetka, Ill.) Tallied one goal and one assist in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Maine, while playing in the 100th game of her collegiate career. She scored a goal in the first period to tie the game at one and added an assist on Naemi Herzig’s goal late in the second period. She now ranks second on the team in scoring with 12 points on three goals and nine assists.
Naemi Herzig, HC (Fr., F; St. Gallen, Switzerland) Posted one goal and one assist in Saturday’s 3-1 victory over Maine. She assisted on Lane Lewis’ first period goal, before scoring Holy Cross’ final goal of the night in the second period.
Taylor Cantelon, HC (Sr., D; Oakville, Ont.) Netted her first goal of the season during Saturday’s 3-1 win over Maine, the game-winning goal. She also blocked two shots during a split with the Black Bears.
Abby Hornung, HC (Sr., G; Ashland, Mass.) Went 1-1-0 against Maine, including making a season-high 41 saves on 42 shots in a 3-1 win on Saturday. She stopped 22 shots on Friday and now has 14 career wins in Hockey East play, the most by any Holy Cross goaltender.
Paige Fong, Maine (Fr., D; Pickering, Ont.) Had a two-point weekend, handing out two assists in a road split at Holy Cross. She had the primary helper on the game-winning goal in Friday’s 2-1 win.
Brenna Curl, Maine (So., D; Bismarck, N.D.) Scored her first career goal in Friday’s 2-1 win, answering less than 30 seconds after Holy Cross took a 1-0 lead. She also picked up an assist on Saturday and blocked four shots in the weekend split.
Julia Cabral, UNH (Jr., F; Lee, N.H.) In a series split with Vermont, totaling two points with a one-goal, one-assist performance over the a 4-3 win on Friday. Additionally, Cabral finished the weekend with a plus-one rating and 1.00 shot percentage.
Kate Sullivan, UNH (Fr., F; Hingham, Mass.) Netted her second goal of the season in New Hampshire’s 4-3 win on Friday against Vermont to go along with a team-high three blocked shots.
Aurora Kahlert, UNH (Fr., D; Maple Ridge, B.C.) Had a pair of assists in Friday’s 4-3 win over Vermont and posted three blocked shots and a plus-one rating across a split weekend.
Sedona Blair, UNH (Jr., G; Eden Prairie, Minn.) Totaled 48 saves on 54 shots faced, closing her weekend with an .889 save percentage and earning a 1-1-0 record to improve her season mark to 4-4-1.
Lily Shannon, NU (Sr., F; Andover, Mass.) Posted one goal and two assists in a weekend sweep over Merrimack. On Friday, Shannon posted two assists. On Saturday, she tallied a goal on the power-play. Shannon leads all Hockey East players with 19 points and 13 assists.
Jules Constantinople, NU (Sr., D; East Haven, Conn.) Recorded three assists in a weekend sweep over Merrimack. In Friday’s 4-1 win, Constantinople set up the game-winner. She anchored a defensive unit that posted its third shutout of the season and tacked on two assists in Saturday’s 5-0 win. Constantinople leads all Hockey East defensemen in goals (4), assists (9) and points (13).
Lisa Jonsson, NU (So., G; Stockholm, Sweden) Posted her third shutout of the season with a 10-save performance at Merrimack in Saturday’s 5-0 victory. Jönsson now has three shutouts on the season, leading all Hockey East netminders.
Morgann Skoda, UVM (Jr., F; Montreal, Que.) Recorded four points in a split weekend with New Hampshire. On Friday, she factored in on all three goals in a 4-3 setback, scoring twice and setting up the other. She added another goal in a 4-0 win on Saturday.
Ashley Kokavec, UVM (Jr., D; Parkland, Fla.) Dished out two assists in a split weekend with New Hampshire while putting seven shots on net and blocking five.
Kaylee Lewis, UVM (Jr., F; McKinney, Texas) Had four points (1g, 3a) in a weekend split with New Hampshire. Her goal proved to be the game-winner in Saturday’s 4-0 victory.
