Hockey East Names 2024-25 Women's All-Star Teams
League Again Honors Three All-Star Teams During 23rd Annual Tournament

AMESBURY, Mass. - The Hockey East Association today announced its 2024-25 Women’s All-Star Teams as voted by the women’s league’s 10 head coaches as part of the celebration of the 23rd annual Hockey East Tournament.

Providence junior forward Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ont.) was the lone player selected unanimously to the All-Hockey East First Team. Joining Kirchmair on the First Team are goaltender Tia Chan (Hamilton, Ont./UConn), defenders Tamara Giaquinto (Toronto, Ont./Boston University) and Ava Rinker (Elverson, Pa./UConn) and forwards Julia Pellerin (Windham, N.H./Boston College) and Audrey Knapp (Stevens Point, Wis./Providence). Chan was named Stop It Goaltending Goaltender of the Year for her achievement, the first Husky netminder so honored since 2017-18.

Named All-Hockey East Second Team are goaltender Abby Hornung (Ashland, Mass./Holy Cross), defenders Molly Jordan (Berlin, Conn./Boston College) and Brooke Becker (Orchard Park, N.Y./Providence) and forwards Sammy Taber (Tewksbury, Mass./Boston College), Claire Murdoch (Toronto, Ont./UConn) and Skylar Irving (Kingston, Mass./Northeastern).

Getting nods on the Third Team are goaltender Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I./Providence), defenders Tuva Kandell (Leksand, Sweden/Northeastern) and Ashley Kokavec (Parkland, Fla./Vermont) and forwards Sydney Healey (Arthur, Ont./Boston University), Ashley Allard (Ottawa, Ont./UConn), Jada Habisch (Buffalo, Minn./UConn) and Kira Juodikis (Lasalle, Ont./New Hampshire).

The 2025 Hockey East Women’s Tournament continues tomorrow with quarterfinal action on NESN, NESN+ and ESPN+. A full schedule is below.

The Hockey East semifinals are set for Wednesday, March 5 at campus sites. The 23rd championship game will be played Saturday, March 8 at 12:00 p.m. at UConn’s Toscano Family Ice Forum and air nationally on ESPNEWS. Tickets are available via the host institution for each on-campus game and championship tickets can be purchased through HockeyEastOnline.com.

Hockey East will announce finalists for the Player, Rookie, and Coach of the Year awards on Monday, March 3.
