HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Lola Reid - Boston University

Lola Reid led the NCAA with four game-winning goals in October
and all of Hockey East with six goals and 11 points, good for second nationally among all rookies. Her five assists were second
among all league skaters. She racked up three goals, four assists, and seven points in Hockey East play, helping the Terriers
to a 4-1-0 start in conference games and a 6-3-0 mark overall.
She leads Hockey East in scoring and has two game-winning
goals in Hockey East play. She currently sits 19th in the country
in goals per game (0.66) and leads BU in points and goals and is
tied for first in assists.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
Éloïse Caron - Northeastern
(Fr., F; Saint-Hyacinthe, Que.)
Éloïse Caron tallied four goals and six assists for 10
points in nine games throughout September and October.
Her 10 points rank tied for third nationally among all freshmen and her six assists sit second in the NCAA among
all first year players. Caron finished with a plus-six rating
and posted one game-winning goal in league play against
Boston University. Caron opened her career with five
points in four games, against nationally ranked opponents.

HOCKEY EAST DEFENDER OF THE MONTH
Tamara Giaquinto - Boston University
(Gr., D; Toronto, Ont.)
Tamara Giaquinto began her fifth year as a Terrier with
three goals, three assists, and six points in nine outings
in October. Five of those points, three goals and two assists, came in Hockey East play. She is fifth in the NCAA
and first in Hockey East in power-play goals (3) and sits
second in Hockey East with five points in conference play.
She is 13th overall in points and leads BU in blocks with
13.

STOP IT GOALTENDING GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH
Callie Shanahan - Boston University
(Gr., G; Athens, Ohio)
Callie Shanahan emerged as one of the top goaltenders in the
country in October, posing a 4-2-0 record overall and a 3-1-0
record in Hockey East play. She pitched two shutouts and leads
the league in perfect games. She sits first in Hockey East with an
overall goals against average of 1.06, which is sixth in the nation.
She posted a league-leading .960 save percentage, including
77 in Hockey East play (.951). She has allowed only four goals
against to conference foes and has four games with at least 20
saves, including a 40 save performance on the road at #2 Minnesota in a 1-0 setback.
