STORRS, Conn. - Each recording two points in back-to-back games, junior Justin Hryckowian and freshman Dylan Hryckowian helped the Northeastern men's hockey to a 4-2 victory over UConn on Saturday night.

- Right out the cage, Northeastern tallied two goals in the first period courtesy of the Hryckowian Brothers. Senior Alex Campbell was credited with the goal's secondary assist.

- Just over a minute later, beginning with a shot from the point by graduate student Pito Walton, Dylan Hryckowian found Justin Hryckowian on the doorstep for the bury and his 11th of the year.

- Northeastern continued to roll as they notched another goal over the halfway point in the second period. With a great forced turnover at the blueline by graduate student Brett Edwards, it was a quick pass ahead for freshman Billy Norcross and ultimately graduate student Liam Walsh for the goal.

- Before the middle frame concluded, UConn would find their way onto the board to make it 3-1 heading into the final intermission.

- With his sixth goal of the year, sophomore Jackson Dorrington sniped one past the UConn netminder to extend the lead to 4-1. The sophomore duo Cam Lund and Jack Williams collected the helpers.

- Although UConn was able to add on another goal to make it 4-2, Northeastern skated away with the win.

- Picking up his 16th win of the season, freshman goaltender Cameron Whitehead finished with 38 saves.

Northeastern is set to face the Providence College Friars at Schneider Arena next Saturday (March 9), starting at 4 p.m., for their final game of the regular season.
