PORTLAND, Maine - Behind two goals from Josh Nadeau, the #8 University of Maine men's hockey team topped Bentley, 3-2, on Saturday night in front of sellout crowd of 6,291 at Cross Insurance Arena.

The teams played scoreless hockey for the first 31 minutes, with Josh Nadeau's ninth goal of the season with 8:10 to go in the second period breaking the deadlock. After Victor Ostman's stop on a short breakaway in the final 20 seconds of the frame sent Maine into the second intermission up 1-0.

Bentley scored two goals midway through the third period to take a 2-1 lead but Cole Hanson's first of the year just 11 seconds after the Falcons took the lead tied it up. Josh Nadeau's second of the night with less than five minutes to go gave Maine the 3-2 victory.

- Victor Ostman made 29 saves to move to 9-3-1 on the year ... Connor Hasley finished with 32 saves for Bentley.

- Josh Nadeau extended his point streak to 10 games while Bradly Nadeau extended his point streak to seven games with an assist, and Lynden Breen has now earned a point in five straight contests.

- Josh Nadeau earned his eighth multi-point game and third multi-goal game ... he potted his second game-winning goal of his career.

- Brandon Chabrier registered his second multi-point game of the season.

- Cole Hanson scored his first goal of the season.

Maine will not play again until the end of December at the Ledyard Bank Classic, hosted by Dartmouth ... the Black Bears face RIT in the first round at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29 and then will play either Lake Superior State or Dartmouth on Saturday, Dec. 30.
