- In similar fashion to his senior counterpart, graduate student Liam Walsh scored his fifth goal of the season on a rebound in front of the crease. Assists were credited to sophomore Matt Choupani and freshman Vinny Borgesi.

- UMass Lowell tallied their second of the night at the 13:56 mark in the middle frame to cut Northeastern's lead to 4-2.

- The Huskies would go on to tally three more unanswered goals. In the final 1:50 of the second period, DeMelis collected his second goal of the night to put the Huskies back up by three with assists to junior Gunnarwolfe Fontaine and freshman Cam Lund.

- The flood gates were open for the Huskies as McDonough redirected one in, off a pass from Hryckowian, for his second point of the evening. Fontaine was also given a helper.

- The script continued to write itself when senior Alex Mella put the Huskies up 7-2 just over five minutes into the third period for his first goal of the season and his first as a Husky. Walsh and Choupani recorded the assists.

- In net for the Huskies, in 60 minutes of action, junior Devon Levi tallied 40 saves to claim his 17th goal of the season. Lund led Northeastern with two blocked shots, while Hryckowian won 11 faceoffs.
