Boston, Mass-- The Merrimack men's hockey team emerged victorious by a score of 4-3 as Ben Brar scored last second winner in overtime to give the Warriors the win and the weekend sweep.

Matt Copponi once again opened the scoring for the Warriors as he tapped in the rebound on the top of the crease to give Merrimack the lead. Mick Messner would follow with his third goal of the weekend as he tipped in Tristan Crozier's initial shot to give the Warriors a two goal cushion through 20 minutes.

Boston University scored three goals in the second period to take the lead, but Ben Brar would tie the game up with a powerplay goal early in the third period. Neither team would score in regulation from then on and the game would go into overtime.

As the overtime came down to the wire, Hugo Ollas would make a breakaway save on one end and back the other way Alex Jefferies would draw a penalty but wouldn't need it as Ben Brar would keep the puck in at the line and score the game winning goal with 0.1 seconds remaining.
