BOSTON - The No. 5 Northeastern women's hockey team took down New Hampshire 4-1 on Thursday night at Matthews Arena. The win gave the Huskies their fourth consecutive Hockey East Regular Season title and fifth overall.

With the win, head coach Dave Flint earned win No. 400 in his career. He is the 11th women's hockey head coach across all divisions to reach 400 career wins.

- After a scoreless first period, senior Megan Carter got the Huskies on the board first with 16:53 to play in the second frame. The assists were from graduate student Maureen Murphy and junior Lily Yovetich.

- The Wildcats answered at the 4:10 mark to tie the score, 1-1.

- Northeastern regained the lead with 2:24 remaining on a goal from graduate student Chloé Aurard to take a 2-1 lead into the second intermission. Murphy tallied her second assist of the night and graduate student Alina Mueller was credited as well.

- The Huskies outshot the Wildcats 20-9 in the second period.

- Sophomore Taze Thompson extended the Huskies lead to 3-1, scoring with 4:22 remaining. Assists from sophomore Skylar Irving and graduate student Mia Brown.

- Aurard scored her second of the night on an empty net goal while shorthanded with 1:03 left in the game on an assist from Mueller to cement the final score, 4-1.

The Huskies will be back in action for the Beanpot semifinals on Feb. 7, at 4 p.m. against Boston University at Boston College's Conte Forum.
