BOSTON CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Michael Hrabal - Massachusetts
(Jr., G; Prague, Czechia)

Among goalies who started more than three games, Michael Hrabal led the NCAA in goals against average (0.85), save percentage (.973), and shutouts (3), and was second in wins (6). He currently has UMass on a seven-game winning streak. He broke a program record with 191 consecutive shutout minutes and his only loss game in a 1-0 result. He did not allow more than two goals in any start and gave up one or fewer on five occasions.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Aiden Wright - Vermont
(Fr., G; Ithaca, N.Y.)

Aiden Wright’s six wins were the second-most of any Hockey East netminder in January, while his 1.75 goals against average was third and .933 save percentage ranked fourth. He earned his first two career shutouts in the month, bookending the first month 2026 off with a 30-save perfect game on Jan. 3 and a 19-stop shutout on Jan. 31. He posted three games with at least 30 saves and his blemishes came by way of the shutout.

ARMY ROTC DEFENDER OF THE MONTH

Lucas Olvestad - Massachusetts
(Sr., D; Stockholm, Sweden)

Lucas Olvestad led UMass and all Hockey East defenders in scoring in a 6-1-0 month of January with six points on three goals and three assists, including two game-winning goals. He added a plus-eight rating, also best in the league, and eight blocks. He paced a team defense that had a 0.85 goals against average for the month and three shutouts.

STOP IT GOALTENDING GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH

Jack Parsons - Providence
(Fr., G; Ithaca, N.Y.)

Jack Parsons went a perfect 7-0-0, the most wins of any goaltender in the country in January, after stepping in the Friars net due to injury. He posted two shutouts and has Providence riding a seven-game winning streak, all against nationally ranked Hockey East opponents. His workload included two games with 42 stops.
