HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Justin Poirier - Maine

No player in Hockey East scored more than Justin Poirier’s nine points in just five games in December, good for
second in the NCAA. He exploded for a trio of two-goal,
three-point outings in his final three games of 2025, including three power-play goals which was the most of any
player in the NCAA. His six goals were the most of any
Hockey East player as her his 24 shots on net.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Parker Lalonde - Merrimack
(Fr., F; Aberdeen, Sask.)
Parker Lalonde paced all Hockey East players with five
assists in just four games in December, helping Merrimack
go 3-1-0. His six points were second-best of any first-year
player. He ended the month on a run with three multi-point
games, scoring one goal and adding five helpers in a trio
of wins for the Warriors. He dished out one game-winning
assist and set up one game-tying goal.

ARMY ROTC DEFENDER OF THE MONTH

Brandon Chabrier - Maine
(Sr., D; Bayville, N.Y.)
Brandon Chabrier tied for the Hockey East lead in blocked
shots in December with 13, which was fourth in the nation.
He led all Hockey East defenders with five assists and
tied for first among all skaters in the category. He also tied
for the league lead in points among blueliners with five
and had seven shots on goal while recording a plus-three
rating.

STOP IT GOALTENDING GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH

Tyler Muszelik - UConn
(Sr., G; Long Valley, N.J.)
Among goalies that played at least 100 NCAA minutes
in December, Tyler Muszelik was first with a .965 save
percentage and second with a 1.00 goals against average. He started the month with a 19-save shutout on the
road and racked up 83 saves in his three starts. He is now
unbeaten in his last nine outings.
