HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Jake Percival - UConn
(Jr., F; Avon, Conn.)

Jake Percival led Hockey East with six goals, two shorthanded goals, and 29 shots on net in the month of October, helping the UConn Huskies to a 4-2-1 start in seven games. His eight total points were tied for third while he had a plus-six rating, good for second among all skaters. He added one game-winning goal and five blocks to his stat line.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Cole Eiserman - Boston University
(Fr., F; Newburyport, Mass.)

Cole Eiserman began his Terriers tenure by scoring the most goals of any freshman in Hockey East, tallying four strikes. His three power-play goals led all skaters in the league. He also chipped in an assist to finish October with five points. He scored twice in his only league game, a 4-2 victory over UConn in which he provided the game-winning marker. He fired 20 shots on net, second-most of any league rookie.

HOCKEY EAST DEFENDER OF THE MONTH

Brandon Holt - Maine
(Jr., D; Grand Forks, N.D.)

Holt helped Maine to a 4-0-1 start through October by leading all league defensemen and tying for sixth overall with seven points. His five helpers were more than any other league defender. He registered at least one point in all five games, including two multi-point outings and recorded a plus-five rating (good for second among blueliners) and 15 shots on net. He blocked three shots and was part of a defense that gave up just 1.80 goals per game.

STOP IT GOALTENDING GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH

Henry Welsch - UMass Lowell
(Fr., G; Melbourne, Fla.)

Henry Welsch went unbeaten in October for the River Hawks, finishing the month with a perfect 4-0-0 record as the only goaltender in Hockey East to not record any losses or ties. He leads the conference in winning percentage and is tied for second with a 1.75 goals against average. He ranks fifth in Hockey East with a .918 save percentage.
