HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Cutter Gauthier - Boston College
(So., F; Scottsdale, Ariz.)

Gauthier was second in the NCAA in points (16) and goals (8) in eight games in March, consistently performing to deliver Boston College the Hockey East regular season and tournament tiles and a Frozen Four berth along with a 14-game winning streak. He had the game winning goals in the Hockey East semifinals and final and potted three power-play goals, second in the nation.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Macklin Celebrini - Boston University
(Fr., F; Vancouver, B.C.)

Celebrini was second in the nation among all players with 16 points in just seven games, making his 2.29 points per game an NCAA-best. He logged at least one point in all seven outings, including five multi-point games and was named Most Outstanding Player of the Sioux Falls regional. On March 20, he became just the fourth player to be named Hockey East Rookie and Player of the Year in the same season.

ARMY ROTC DEFENDER OF THE MONTH

Lane Hutson - Boston University
(So., D; North Barrington, Ill.)

Hutson helped the Terriers back into the Frozen Four for the second straight season with 10 points on three goals and seven assists for 10 points. Two of his three tallies proved to be game-winning strikes and he was fourth in the nation with 14 blocks. His plus-eight rating in seven games played was best among all Hockey East defenders and he launched 19 shots on net.

STOP IT GOALTENDING GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH

Jacob Fowler - Boston College
(Fr., G; Melbourne, Fla.)

Fowler was flawless in March, posting a 7-0-0 record to backbone the Eagles to the Hockey East regular season title, the Hockey East Tournament championship, and a Frozen Four berth. He set the record for most wins in NCAA history by a rookie goaltender with his 31st on March 31 and was named a finalist for the Mike Richter Award. He ended March on a 12-game winning streak.
