HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Lynden Breen - Maine
Junior; Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B.
Tied for the Hockey East lead with 10 points in just eight games in
February, helping Maine to a 4-1-3 record. His six goals included
three short-handed strikes, including two in one shift, and one
power-play tally. He posted at least one point in six of his eight outings, including two three-point nights. He finished with a plus-eight
on-ice rating in eight games and won 46.8% of his faceoffs taken.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
Cutter Gauthier - Boston College
Forward; Scottsdale, Ariz.
Gauthier led all Hockey East rookies with 10 points on three goals
and seven assists in eight games in the month of February. He
a team-best 33 shots on goal, which ranked sixth in the NCAA
among first-year players, and was plus-two for the month. The
rookie had at least one point in seven of his eight games and
posted two multi-point outings.

ARMY ROTC DEFENDER OF THE MONTH
Damien Carfagna - New Hampshire Freshman; Wood-Ridge, N.Y.
Carfagna recorded four goals and one assist for five points over
seven games during the month of February as the Wildcats went
4-1-2. He was also second on the team with 10 blocks and was tied
for first with a plus-five rating. On Feb. 6, he earned Army ROTC
Co-Defender of the Week honors as he scored three goals for three
points on the week. He netted his first collegiate game-winner in
the win versus Merrimack and then recorded two goals at UML.

STOP IT GOALTENDING GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH
Devon Levi, Northeastern Junior; Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Que.
Levi backboned a resurgence to the top of the Hockey East standings in February, picking up a 3-2-2 record, including two shutout
and two shootout wins. He recorded a season high 54 saves and
had three outings of at least 40 saves and six 30-save games.
In seven games he made 261 saves and recorded a .953 save
percentage and 1.80 GAA, good for third and seventh in the nation,
respectively. He led Northeastern to its fourth Beanpot title in five
years, earning both the MVP and Eberly honors.
