HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Bobby Trivigno - Massachusetts
Senior Forward; Setauket, N.Y.
Trivigno led the NCAA with 13 assists and 17 points in eight games in
February, helping to power Massachusetts to a 6-2-0 mark. He registered at
least a point in seven of those eight games, enjoying six multi-point games,
including a five-point night on Feb. 4 (1g, 4a). The senior ended the month
with an active six-game point streak and three straight multi-point efforts.
Trivigno netted his 50th career goal against on Feb. 26, becoming just the
seventh player in program history to join UMass’ 50-goal, 100-point club.
He is currently fifth in the nation in scoring with 42 points. He was named
Hockey East Player of the Week on Feb. 7.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
Ryan Ufko - Massachusetts
Defenseman; Long Island, N.Y.
Ufko helped UMass go 6-2-0 in the month of February, including
a 4-2-0 mark in league action, with 10 points over eight games on
three goals and seven assists. His 10 points and three power-play
goals tied for the national league among all freshmen. He ranked
third on the squad in scoring for the month and was plus-six. The
defenseman had at least one point in all eight contests to carry an
active eight-game point streak into the month of March. All three
goals came on the power play and he put up two multi-point efforts
against Maine and at Vermont with two assists in both contests.

HOCKEY EAST DEFENDER OF THE MONTH
Domenick Fensore - Boston University
Junior; Thornwood, N.Y.
Fensore led the Terriers with an incredible 10 assists, tied for
second in the NCAA, and 11 blocked shots. His 10 total points
also led Boston University and was 13th among all skaters in
the nation. He notched an assist in all six games, including three
multi-assist efforts. He set a new career high with three assists
in a 6-3 win over Boston College and had two assists in wins
over Harvard (Beanpot semifinals) and at Providence. Fensore
impacted the game beyond the box score thanks to his skating
ability and defensive instincts.

STOP IT GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH
Vinny Duplessis - Boston University
Sophomore; Quebec City, Que.
Duplessis went 5-0-0 in February, including a 19-save shutout
in the Beanpot final against Northeastern. That was his second
shutout of the month, as he began February with a 4-0 win over
Maine. Duplessis finished February with a 1.40 GAA and a .945
save percentage, allowing just four even-strength goals during
the month.
