HOCKEY EAST PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Brett Berard - Providence
Sophomore Forward; East Greenwich, R.I.
Berard finished the month of November with 10 points on three
goals and seven assists over eight games. The sophomore has
posted six points over his last two games and leads Hockey East
in scoring with 21 points overall this season. Berard’s performance
has guided the Friars to a six-game winning streak entering
December and he also was named to the U.S. National Junior
Team’s Preliminary Roster leading up to the 2022 IIHF World
Junior Championships.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
Devon Levi - Northeastern
Goaltender; Dollard-Des-Ormeaux, Que.
Levi, who missed all of 2020-21 with injury, earns his second
straight Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month Award. He went 6-1-
1 with a 1.11 goals against average and .959 save percentage
in eight games played in November. He allowed two goals or
fewer in every game played, and recorded his fifth shutout of the
season in the process. He has allowed just 10 goals in his last
11 outings and is currently the two-time reigning Pro Ambitions
Rookie of the Week.

HOCKEY EAST DEFENDER OF THE MONTH
Case McCarthy - Boston University
Junior; Clarence Center, N.Y.
McCarthy performed at both ends of the ice for the Terriers in the
second month of 2021-22 as the junior blueliner finished Novem-
ber with four goals and one assist for five points in seven outings.
He logged a plus-two on-ice rating and blocked nine shots for his
defense corps. His four November goals are more than any other
league defender has through the first two months of the season.

STOP IT GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH
Owen Savory - UMass Lowell
Senior; Cambridge, Ont.
Savory finished the month with a 4-1-0 record to help the River
Hawks to an overall 8-2-2 (6-1-0 HE) mark. He allowed just five
goals on 121 shots faced in November and stopped a season-high
34 shots in a 3-0 shutout against UConn on Nov. 20. He has
registered three shutouts this season for the River Hawks, with
two coming in the last three games. He leads the nation in save
percentage (.954) and ranks second in goals against (1.10).
Against conference opponents, Savory has a league-best GA (6),
GAA (.86) and save percentage (.966). He earned his second
goaltender of the week honor after helping the River Hawks to
back-to-back wins over then-No. 17 Northeastern and then-No.16
Boston College.
