The CCHA, ECAC Hockey, Hockey East and the WCHA dominate the list of players selected as Player, Rookie and Goalie of the Month in men’s and women’s NCAA Hockey for the month of February. Here are the honorees.

Women’s Player of the Month: Olivia Wallin, GR F, Minnesota Duluth (Oakville, ON)

Wallin did it all in eight February games, producing a line of 6-9-15 that also included a plus/minus rating of +9.

Audrey Knapp, SO F, Providence (Stevens Point, WI) (7 GP, 5-5-10, 1.4 PPG)
Kyla Bear, SR D, RIT (Ochapowace, SK) (8 GP, 4-3-7, 19 blocked shots)

Men’s Player of the Month: Ayrton Martino, Clarkson (Toronto, ON)

Martino averaged 2.25 PPG with 8-10-18 in eight games as the Golden Knights went 8-0, including sweeps of Cornell and Quinnipiac.

Women’s Rookie of the Month: Kiia Lahtinen, FR G, Maine (Porvoo, Finland)

A save percentage of .976 and a GAA of 0.54 vaulted Lahtinen to the head of the rookie pack for the month of February. Maine went 3-1-1 in her five starts.

Men’s Co-Rookie of the Month: Mick Thompson, FR F, Harvard (Mississauga, ON)

Went 4-8-12 in eight games for the Crimson. Set up all three goals in a 3-2 win over RPI.

Men’s Co-Rookie of the Month: Cole Hutson, FR D, Boston University (North Barrington, IL)

Had a 5-6-11 month for the Terriers who went 4-3-1, including 2-1-1 vs. ranked BC, UConn and Providence.

Women’s Goaltender of the Month: Annelies Bergmann, SO G, Cornell (Detroit, MI)

Bergmann backstopped Cornell’s rise to #3 in the nation as the Big Red went 5-0-1 and Bergman put up 0.82 and .958 numbers.

Allie Kelley, GR G, Syracuse (East Berne, NY) (1.50, .957, 6-1-0

Men’s Goaltender of the Month: Alex Tracy, JR G, Minnesota State (Chicago, IL)

In another month of strong goalie performances, Tracy’s 5-0-1, 0.99 and .966 numbers stand out. He averaged better than 28 saves per game as well.
