AMESBURY, Mass. – The Hockey East Association and the New England Sports Network announced today that Hockey East Live, a first-of-its-kind whip around show that will cap off the men’s regular season, will debut on Saturday, March 8 at 7:00 p.m on NESN.
With the 2024-25 regular season crown up for grabs and playoff seeding yet to be determined for every team, the final day of Hockey East play will be important for all 11 programs. Following Boston College hosting Merrimack at 1:00 p.m., live coverage of the each of the final four games will then begin at 7:00 p.m. on NESN. Adam Pellerin, Billy Jaffe, and Andrew Raycroft will host, taking a live look in to each game during key moments, showing power-plays, goals, clutch saves, and more throughout the night while providing insight and analysis into the country’s most competitive college hockey conference.
The late games will feature staggered starting times to allow for maximum coverage of each exciting moment during the regular season finale. UMass Lowell and New Hampshire will start things off at 7:00 p.m., while Boston University and Vermont drop the puck at 7:10 p.m., Providence and Northeastern duel at 7:15 p.m., and Maine and Massachusetts put and end to the 2024-25 season starting at 7:30 p.m.
Additionally, Friday night’s game between No. 5 Maine at No. 16 Massachusetts from the Mullins Center has been flexed onto NESN, while New Hampshire at UMass Lowell will air on NESN+. Both games begin at 7:00 p.m.
The 2025 Hockey East Men’s Tournament begins on Wednesday, March 12 with three Opening Round games between seeds 7-10. The winners will advance to the Quarterfinals the following weekend, before the semifinals and finals return to TD Garden on Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21. Tickets will become available to participating semifinalist campuses when the four teams are identi- fied following the quarterfinals on March 15. Student tickets will also be made available at that time.
