AMESBURY, Mass. - The Hockey East Association and the New England Sports Network (NESN) today announced three games have been added to the regular season schedule featuring highly competitive match ups between national powers. A full list can be found below.
For the first time in nearly a decade, NESN and Hockey East have partnered to bring Flex Games back to schedule to air the most compelling games during the stretch run of the season. The flex schedule kicks off with a men’s game on Friday, February 21 as No. 5 Maine visits No. 11 UConn at Toscano Family Ice Forum. The next day, No. 14 UConn travels to No. 13 Boston University as the two programs battle for the women’s regular season crown. The men’s schedule also includes New Hampshire visiting the No. 1 Boston College Eagles on February 28.
Hockey East and NESN will continue to produce This Week in Hockey East, a weekly half-hour preview show produced by Hockey East featuring insight and analysis from Eric Gallanty and Bridgette Proulx. The show airs on NESN before every Friday night game starting at 6:30 p.m.
Enhanced coverage of the women’s and men’s postseason begins in late February. Full details surrounding the postseason will be announced at a later date. The schedule concludes when Hockey East returns to TD Garden for the men’s tournament semifinals and championship on March 20 and 21.
In addition to being available on NESN and NESN+, fans in New England can stream all games aired on the network by downloading the NESN 360 app and logging in with a participating TV provider or directly subscribing. Visit NESN360.com to learn more, and to access a special offer of 50% off an annual plan (available until November 12, 2024 or while supplies last).
