AMESBURY, Mass. – The Hockey East Association and the New England Sports Network (NESN) today unveiled an initial slate of games that will be telecast on the region’s top sports network during the 2023-24 season. Extensive coverage of the 2024 men’s and women’s tournaments, as well as additional regular season games, will be announced at a later date.
“Hockey East is once again excited to announce a robust television schedule in partnership with NESN,” said Hockey East Commissioner Steve Metcalf. “With more games broadcast from more arenas than ever before, we are looking forward to showcasing our student-athletes and programs with more coverage and programming on NESN in 2023-24.”
The 2023-24 Hockey East on NESN schedule kicks off on Friday, October 13 when the top ranked men’s team in the country, No. 1 Boston University, visits New Hampshire at 8:00 p.m. The next day, the women’s schedule begins with a nationally ranked match up as No. 15 Providence plays host to No. 8 Quinnipiac at 3:00 p.m.
Defending men’s national champion No. 2 Quinnipiac plays at New Hampshire on NESN on Saturday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. before the television schedule shifts to 35-straight Hockey East league games in November.
Enhanced coverage of the men’s and women’s postseason begins in late February. Full details surrounding the postseason will be announced at a later date. The schedule concludes when Hockey East returns to TD Garden for the men’s tournament semifinals and championship, March 22-23, which will also air on NESN. In addition to being available on NESN and NESN+, fans in New England can stream all games aired on the network by downloading the NESN 360 app and logging in with a participating TV provider or directly subscribing.

ABOUT THE HOCKEY EAST ASSOCIATION
The Hockey East Association is an 11-team Division I college men’s hockey conference founded in 1984 and a 10-team Division I women’s league which began play in 2002-03. The men’s league has won 10 NCAA championships, most recently in 2021. Since 1999, Hockey East has won eight men’s NCAA Championships with 17 NCAA Championship Game appearances, while placing 29 teams in the Frozen Four and 79 teams in the NCAA Tournament. Overall, Hockey East has sent 123 teams to the men’s NCAA Tournament since its inaugural season, more than any other conference in that span. Hockey East is home to 11 Hobey Baker winners and four Patty Kazmaier winners.
