DURHAM, N.H. - The Boston College women's hockey team battled to a tie against New Hampshire, on Saturday afternoon at the Whittemore Center in the final regular season game. The Eagles walked with the shootout victory, earning the Hockey East extra point.

The Eagles have locked up home ice through the quarterfinal round of the 2025 Hockey East Tournament and will host Maine on Saturday, March. 2 at Kelley Rink.

The teams played through a scoreless opening 16 minutes, UNH got on the board with four minutes left to play in the first period. The Wildcats held the lead after a scoreless second frame, with the Eagles leading UNH in shots on goal.

In the final frame, Kate Ham adds the equalizer six minutes into the stanza. Neither side broke the tie sending the game into overtime.

The score remained 1-1 after the five-minute overtime sending the game to a shootout. In the shootout, Gaby Roy found the back of the net to give the Eagles the shootout win.
