ORONO, Maine - Josh Nadeau had four points and five different Black Bears scored as the #5 University of Maine men's hockey team earned a 5-2 win over New Hampshire in the Buffalo Wild Wings Border Battle on Saturday night at Alfond Arena.

After a scoreless first period, Brandon Holt gave Maine the 1-0 lead at the 8:39 mark of the second. The Wildcats scored twice over the final 10 minutes of the middle frame to take a 2-1 lead into the break.

The Black Bears then scored four goals over the final 12 minutes of the third period. Charlie Russell pulled the game even and then Sully Scholle scored the eventual game-winner with 5:06 to play. Just 12 seconds after Scholle's goal, Thomas Freel made it 4-2 and then Nadeau scored an unassisted short-handed goal to put the game out of reach.
