STORRS, Conn. - Graduate goaltender Tia Chan made 24 saves and graduate forward Jada Habisch scored the game's only goal as UConn shut out Holy Cross, 1-0, on Saturday night at Toscano Family Ice Forum.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Midway through the first period, UConn's Jada Habisch poked the puck in off a scramble in front of the Crusaders net at 8:21.

- Neither team scored in the second period. Loranger made eight saves while the Crusaders took 11 shots in the period.

- The Crusaders fired eight shots in the last three minutes of the game with an empty net but came up short. The Huskies took the 1-0 victory.

- UConn led Holy Cross 42-24 in shots on goal and 26-22 in face-offs to conclude the game.
