BURLINGTON, Vt. - A two-goal game from captain Jack Williams led the Northeastern men's hockey team to a weekend sweep over the Vermont Catamounts.

- While the defensive efforts of the Huskies were strong in the opening period, Vermont went up 1-0 at the 16:43 mark to open scoring.

- For his second goal in as many games, junior Jack Williams tied the game at 1-1 with under five minutes in the middle frame. Senior Cristophe Tellier sent a beautiful backhand pass into the middle of the Huskies' offensive zone for Williams who beat two Vermont defensemen for a net front bury. - UVM once again pulled their goaltender for the man advantage and scored to bring the game to 3-2 but were unable to find the tying tally.
