CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College Eagles defeated the University of Vermont Catamounts 3-0 on Friday afternoon.
Olivia Maffeo got the Eagle's offense rolling in the first period. Maffeo tipped in the puck off a pass from Jade Arnone giving BC the 1-0 lead 11 minutes into the game.
The Catamounts and Eagles traded chances during the second period, with neither side finding the back of the net.
Alanna Devlin doubled BC's in the final three minutes of the game, recording her third goal of her career. Julia Pellerin recorded an empty net goal in the final second of the game giving BC a 3-0 victory over the Catamounts.
Grace Campbell ended the night with 22 saves, earning her third straight conference shutout.
