BOSTON, Mass. - Freshman netminder Lisa Jönsson posted her fifth shutout of the season and freshman Morgan Jackson tallied a multi-point effort to guide the No. 15 Northeastern women's hockey team to 4-0 victory over Holy Cross on Saturday night at Matthews Arena.

Jackson and graduate student Jaden Bogden both finished with multi-point efforts for the Huskies. Jackson also tallied her first game-winning goal against the Crusaders.

- Scoring at least one goal in every period on Saturday evening, Jackson got it started for the Huskies with her first goal in Matthews Arena at the 4:45 mark of the first frame. Jackson's second tally of the season was assisted by sophomore Allie Lalonde and Bogden.

- Northeastern potted two goals in the final two minutes of the second frame, beginning with a blast from freshman Tuva Kandell to put the Huskies up 2-0. Kandell had helpers from Jackson and junior Kristina Allard. Just 40 seconds after Kandell's goal, senior Taze Thompson made the score 3-0 for the Huskies. Junior Lily Brazis and sophomore Ella Blackmore picked up the assists.

- A mere 27 seconds into the third, junior Lily Shannon scored for Northeastern, getting assists from her linemates Bogden and senior Skylar Irving.

- The Huskies closed out the game with a 4-0 lead, outshooting the Crusaders, 45-14.

- Jönsson posted 14 saves in the shutout, giving her five shutouts in her first 10 starts.

The Huskies will next host Yale on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. for their Skating Strides game.
