PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's ice hockey team fell to Brown, 3-2, in the 29th annual Mayor's Cup on Nov. 30 at Schneider Arena in Providence, R.I. The Bears, who snapped an eight-game winless streak in the Mayor's Cup, improved to 7-5-1. The Friars moved to 7-7-3 on the season.

- Brown scored two unanswered goals in the first period, despite being outshot by Providence, 9-6.

- Brown regained the lead (3-2) just 39-seconds into the third period with a goal from India McDadi, assisted by Jade Iginla and Ava DeCoste.
- McDadi's goal proved to be the game-winner, to help Brown snap an eight-game skid in the Mayor's Cup.
- Hope Walinksi (Lincoln, R.I.) recorded 20 saves in net for the Friars.
