NOTES

- Larry Keenan gave the Minutemen an early 1-0 lead just 1:19 into the game after firing a shot from the point through a screen.

- After a pair of unsuccessful power plays, the Friars tied the game at 1-1 as Ryan O'Reilly snapped a shot into the top right corner for his fourth goal of the season. Graham Gamache and Guillaume Richard assisted on the play.

- Providence took a 2-1 lead at 4:03 of the second period on a power-play strike by Logan Sawyer on a one-timer off a feed from Hudson Malinoski. Andrew Centrella also earned an assist, his seventh of the season.

- Svedebäck turned away all 10 shots he faced in the third period to preserve the win.

- Providence's unbeaten streak was extended to nine games (7-0-2).

- The Friars currently have sole possession of first place in the Hockey East standings with 16 points (5-0-2).
