ORONO, Maine - The Boston College women's hockey team defeated Maine, 3-1 on Friday evening at Alfond Arena.

Kate Ham scored the game's first goal off the rebound of her shot in the 10th minute of the first period. A minute later Tricia Piku doubled BC's lead. The Eagles went into the first intermission with a 2-0 lead.

In the second period, Maine cut the Eagle's lead to one.

During the final frame, Gaby Roy added another goal for BC. Roy scored her fifth goal of the season by sneaking the puck through the goalkeeper's legs. The Eagle held on to the 3-1 victory, extending their win streak to six games.
