CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Sammy Taber and Julia Pellerin scored twice in the 7-3 win over Merrimack on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles scored three goals in the first period. Sammy Taber opened up the scoring four minutes into the game on a power-play opportunity. Julia Pellerin got involved in the action four minutes later. Taber had the final goal of the period, scoring off a Merrimack turnover. The Eagles went into the first intermission with a 3-0 lead.

Molly Jordan and Katie Pyne scored back-to-back goals, early in the second period. In the 14th minute of the second period, Merrimack got their first goal, shrinking the BC lead to 5-1.

Kate Ham scored her first goal of the season off the rebound of Alanna Devlin's shot.

Julia Pellerin scored her second goal and the final goal of the night for BC 17 minutes into the second period.
