DURHAM, N.H. - Sophomore goalie Sedona Blair (Prairie View, Minn.) recorded 15 saves as the University of New Hampshire women's hockey team defeated Union College, 2-1, at the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex on Friday night.

Sophomore Julia Cabral (Lee, N.H.) and senior Brooke Hammer (Commerce Township, Michigan) scored the Wildcats' goals.

Union goalie Monja Wagner was credited with 27 saves and Emma Fulawka scored the Garnet Chargers' goal.

UNH moves to 2-2-1 overall while Union is 2-5-0.

FIRST PERIOD

- Cabral scored UNH's first goal at 9:17 to give the Wildcats an early 1-0 lead on a shot between the goalie's legs from close range on the left side.
