CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The second-ranked Boston College men's hockey team scored five goals over the first two periods on Friday night to pick up a 5-0 victory over AIC in its home opener at Kelley Rink.

BC improves to 2-1-0 on the season while AIC falls to 0-3-1.

Aram Minnetian (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) opened the scoring midway through the opening period after going top shelf from the point for his first goal of the 2024-25 season. Moments later, Gabe Perreault (Hinsdale, Ill.) scored for the second-straight game with a power play goal.

The Eagles scored twice in the second period just 21 seconds apart to push the lead to four. Will Vote (Arlington, Mass.) scored his third goal of the campaign after finishing off a pass from Perreault from right in front of goal. Just seconds later, Will Skahan (Woodbury, Minn.) ripped home a shot for his first collegiate goal after Andre Gasseau (Garden Grove, Calif.) won the faceoff in the offensive zone.

James Hagens (Hauppauge, N.Y.) capped off a three-goal second period with his first collegiate goal with just under four minutes remaining in the frame. Teddy Stiga (Sudbury, Mass.) found Perreault, who immediately found Hagens back across goal to fire it in.

Jacob Fowler (Melbroune, Fla.) made 20 saves to earn his second shutout of the season.
