GAME FLOW & NOTES

-Kiara Kraft (Churchville, N.Y.) struck first for the Friars 11:16 into the first period. Peyton Blaney (Millgrove, Ontario) and Hannah Johnson (Readfield, Maine) were each credited with an assist.

-The Friars struck again thanks to Millie Sirum (Oslo, Norway) from Ashley Clark (North Weymouth, Mass.) and Kayla Kutes (Kirkland, Wa.) to make it 2-0 3:21 into the second period.

-Providence went up 3-0 on the power play from Audrey Knapp (Stevens point, Wis.) with 12:59 remaining assisted by Sarah Davies (Mississauga, Ontario) and Sirum.

-Jessie Pellerin (Bowmanville, Ontario) added the fourth for her first collegiate goal with helpers from Cali Cerruti (Norwell, Mass.) and Kayla Kutes.

-The Friars added a fifth in the second with Kraft's second goal assisted by Emma Hofbauer (Vomperbach, Austria) and Dylan Berman (Deephaven, Minn.).

-Midway through the third period, Emma Hofbauer (Vomperbach, Austria) grabbed her first collegiate goal to make it 5-0. Josie Lang (Stillwater, Minn.) and Lily Martinson (Allen, Texas) added their first assists on the season.

-With under three minutes to go in the game, Hannah Johnson marked the Friars seventh goal of the contest with assists from Knapp and Pellerin.

-Kiara Kraft scored a hat trick with 2:05 to go with assists from Berman and Kutes to make it 8-0. That was Berman's second and Kutes' third assist of the game. It was the program's first hat trick since Sara Hjalmarsson scored three in a win over Maine on Nov. 19, 2022.

-Hope Walinski had five saves in the game.
