North Andover, Mass. - The Merrimack Warriors Women's hockey team kicked off their 2024-25 with a hard fought effort against the St. Lawrence Saints, falling by a score of 3-0 on Friday afternoon.


The Basics

St. Lawrence took the lead just before the ten minute mark on a shot that snuck through Calli Hogarth into the net, Hogarth would make 11 saves in the period to keep the deficit at one.

In the second, Hogarth would come up big with another 11 saves to keep the score at 1-0 heading into the final period.

In the third, St. Lawrence would get the important insurance marker on a 2 on 1 chance that was swept home with 7:20 to play, and the Saints would add one more tally with an empty net goal with 1:04 to go.
