SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The #6 University of Maine men's hockey team fell to #12 Cornell, 3-1, on Thursday night in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at the MassMutual Center.
The Black Bears end the season at 23-12-2.
Harrison Scott put Maine up 1-0 six minutes into the contest. The Big Red would respond with six minutes to go in the period. Cornell then added a single goals in the second period and third period for the 3-1 final.
