NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - Hugo Ollas had a standout performance with a career high 46 saves to help the Warriors past the Providence College Friars by a score of 2-1 on Friday night at Lawler Arena.

Ollas turned away 15 shots in the first period to send both teams to the locker room scoreless through the opening 20 minutes.
In the second, the Warriors would break through as Ethan Bono poked the puck to Mac Welsher for a two-on-one odd man rush with Michael Citara who fired the puck in for his sixth goal of the season. Merrimack added an insurance marker as Mac Welsher tipped in a point shot from Max Wattvil at 13:56 of the period. Ollas turned away 17 more shots as the Warriors carried a one goal lead to the third.
In the final frame, Providence would find their way past Ollas with a goal at 5:04. Ollas turned away 14 more shots, including multiple attempts in the final seconds to pick up the win.
